This year’s 21st Annual Big Money Raffle will be held on Saturday March 11th at The Dorcheat Historical Museum. It is our hope that you and your spouse will be able to attend the drawing of the Big Money Raffle winners.
As you no doubt already know the Big Money Raffle fundraiser is vitally important to the continued success of our school. Our tuition covers only approximately 80% of our expenses. The Big Money Raffle helps Glenbrook keep tuition low and raise critical funds needed for the school. This raffle helps bring in contributions from outside sources as many families are able to sell their tickets to businesses or supporters of the school. There are ten $500 drawings and one $5,000 drawing, and a single ticket purchase makes the purchaser eligible for multiple drawings.
The Big Money Raffle fundraising committee is responsible for distributing two $100 tickets to each family and is asking each family to sell or purchase both. A member of the committee will be following up by email and phone to see if you have any questions. Also, we will be glad to contact anyone you think may be interested in buying additional tickets.
Corporate sponsorships are also available. With a sponsorship you or your business will receive tickets, several forms of advertisement, and acknowledgments. If you are interested in a corporate sponsorship, please contact Faith Gilbert at 377-3929 (firstname.lastname@example.org).
After you have bought or sold the tickets, please return the money along with the names of the ticket holders in the enclosed envelope or drop them off at Glenbrook School. NEW THIS YEAR! You can pay online on the school website. See the “Big Money Raffle” tab on the web page. You will receive a receipt via email. All monies should be paid no later than Thursday, March 9th.
Remember, to qualify for the Early Bird drawing you must turn in your money by Friday, February 17th. We encourage those of you who can to buy or sell five or more tickets. This will also qualify you for an additional $500 drawing. Additional tickets will be available at the school office.
